Succession

Succession means that when you die your tenancy can be passed on to someone else. A spouse or partner may be able to take over the tenancy if the property was their main or only home. Another family member may be able to take over the tenancy if they have lived with you for at least 12 months.

All claims to succession must be made in writing within one month of the tenant dying.
